Directions

North

From Gainesville

• Take Hwy 129 heading towards Athens for approximately 35 miles.
• Turn right onto Lavender Rd.
• Stay on Lavender for 0.9 miles and MDCHS will be on your right as you crest the hill.

From 441

• Follow 441 South until GA-10 loop.
• Turn right onto 10.
• Follow for approximately 2-3 miles until Prince Ave, exit 14.
• Turn right onto Prince Ave. / Hwy. 129 North.
• Follow for approximately 2 miles staying in the lefthand lane.
• Turn left onto Lavender Rd.
• Follow Lavender for approximately 1 mi.
• MDCHS will be on your right as you crest the hill.

South

From 441

• Take 441 North until you see GA-10 loop West.
• Turn left onto 10.
• Follow approximately 7 miles until the Oglethorpe Ave./Tallassee Rd., exit 15.
• Turn left off the exit and follow until you see Lavender Rd. on the right.
• Turn right onto Lavender Rd.
• Follow for approximately 1 mi. MDCHS is on the left.

East

From downtown Athens

• Follow West Broad to Pulaski St.
• Turn right on Pulaski and follow to the 2nd stop light.
• Turn left at second light. (St. Joseph Church and School should be on your right)
• From this point stay on Prince Ave. for approximately 4 mi.
• Turn left on Lavender Rd. and follow for approximately 1 mi.
• MDCHS will be on your right

From Hwy. 78

• Follow Hwy. 78 West until loop 10 North exit (by the movie theater).
• Stay on 10 for approximately 6 mi. until you see the Prince Ave. exit (#14).
• Turn right off this exit onto Hwy. 129 North.
• Follow for approximately 2 miles in the lefthand lane.
• Turn left on Lavender Rd.
• Follow Lavender for approximately 1 mi.
• MDCHS will be on your right.

West

From North Atlanta

• Take I-85 north to Hwy. 316 exit 106.
• Follow for approximately 36 mi.
• Stay in right lane (not the extreme right lane) and crest the hill at the Home Depot sign.
• Turn right onto GA-10 loop at the bottom of the hill (after the bridge).
• Stay on 10 for approximately 2mi. until the Oglethorpe Ave./Tallassee Rd., exit 15.
• Turn left off the exit and follow until you see Lavender Rd. on the right.
• Turn right onto Lavender and follow for approximately 1 mi. MDCHS is on the left.

From Hwy. 78

• Take Hwy. 78 east to GA-10 loop.
• Turn right onto 10.
• Follow for approximately 2 mi. until the Oglethorpe Ave./Tallassee Rd., exit 15.
• Turn left off the exit and follow until you see Lavender Rd. on the right.
• Turn right onto Lavender and follow for approximately 1 mi. MDCHS is on the left.
